Something extraordinary is unfolding
Does the 2027 INFINITI QX60 Have a Third Row?
Yes. Every 2027 INFINITI QX60 has three rows of seats, standard on all four grades. There is no two-row version of the QX60.
How Big Is the Third Row of the 2027 INFINITI QX60?
Three rows is the easy part of the answer. The useful part is how much room row three actually has, and how it compares to the two rows in front of it.
| Row | Legroom | Headroom | Shoulder Room | What That Means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Front | 42.1 in | 41.0 in | 60.6 in | Full-size space for any adult, with power seats and memory on every grade. |
| Second | 37.7 in | 37.5 in | 59.7 in | The best seat in the vehicle after the driver's. Adults ride here all day without complaint. |
| Third | 28.0 in | 35.7 in | 55.6 in | A real seat for kids and teens. Fine for an adult across town, tight for an adult to Myrtle Beach. |

What the Third Row Is Actually Good For
Three rows are standard, not an option box
This is worth saying plainly because it is not true of every SUV at this price. Some three-row rivals sell a two-row version of the same nameplate, and some luxury crossovers this size have no third row at all. The QX60 does not work that way. PURE, LUXE, SPORT and AUTOGRAPH all leave the factory with three rows, so you cannot accidentally buy a QX60 that is missing one. If you are cross-shopping a Lexus RX 350, which is a five-seat two-row SUV, that difference is the whole decision.
Getting into row three, and why the aisle matters
Every 2027 QX60 has a second row that tilts and slides forward, so there is always a way in. SPORT and AUTOGRAPH go further. Their second-row captain's chairs leave a permanent walk-through aisle down the middle, which means a seven year old can climb to the back without an adult getting out to move a seat. At 7:40 in the morning in a school line off College Road, that is worth more than most spec-sheet features. The trade is that the aisle replaces the middle seat, so those two grades carry six people instead of seven.
Seat count is a separate question from row count. Three rows is standard on every QX60. Whether you get six seats or seven depends on the second row, which changes by grade. We answer that one in full on how many the 2027 INFINITI QX60 seats.
Cargo is the real limit, not the seat count
With all three rows up the QX60 has 14.5 cubic feet behind row three. That is a genuine number for a beach run to Wrightsville, coolers and chairs and towels for the day. It is not a number that carries luggage for seven people to the mountains. Fold the 50/50 third row and you get 41.6 cubic feet. Fold both rear rows and you get 75.4 cubic feet. Most families use row three a few times a week and use the cargo space every day, and folding half the third row is the setting they live in.
Who should look at the QX80 instead
If adults ride in the third row regularly, say a household with grown kids or grandparents coming along from Hampstead most weekends, the QX60 is the wrong size. The QX80 is the full-size answer, with a bigger third row, seven or eight seats and 8,500 pounds of towing. The QX60 is a midsize crossover doing an honest job at midsize dimensions. It is better to say that here than to have you find it out on I-40.
What every 2027 QX60 gets, whatever the layout
Row count is standard, so it is not what separates the grades. Every 2027 QX60 runs the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four making 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft, a nine-speed automatic, and dual 12.3-inch displays with Google built in. EPA estimates are 22 city and 28 highway with front-wheel drive, and 21 city and 27 highway with Intelligent AWD. Towing is 6,000 pounds when properly equipped, which covers a boat headed for the Wrightsville Beach ramp.
