What Each Feature Actually Does, and Which Grade to Buy
Dynamic Digital Suspension is the air suspension, and LUXE is the entry point
INFINITI does not use the phrase air suspension in its own materials, which is why this question gets asked the way it does. The system is called Dynamic Digital Suspension and it is an electronically controlled air setup. It reads the road surface, adjusts damping continuously, and can raise or lower the vehicle. PURE does not have it. LUXE, SPORT and AUTOGRAPH all do.
On the drive out to Wrightsville Beach it smooths the expansion joints on the bridges. In a parking deck at Mayfaire it lowers the QX80 to make climbing out easier, which is the feature owners mention most and the one that is hardest to appreciate from a brochure. If air suspension is the reason you are reading this page, LUXE is the grade to start with, not SPORT.
Massaging seats arrive one grade later, and the second row later still
Massaging front seats are standard on SPORT and AUTOGRAPH. They are not available on PURE or LUXE at any price, so this is a grade decision rather than an options-list decision. If you want the driver's seat to massage, SPORT is the entry point.
Massaging second-row seats are AUTOGRAPH only. That is the single feature that most cleanly separates the top grade from the one below it. If the people you drive around most often sit behind you, and this is the feature they will notice, AUTOGRAPH is the grade that delivers it.
The short version: LUXE gets you the air suspension. SPORT adds massage for the driver and front passenger. AUTOGRAPH is the only one that massages the second row. Nothing here is an option box, so pick the grade that contains the feature you want.

The grades that add suspension and massage add other things at the same time, so it is worth knowing what travels with them rather than paying for one feature twice.
